General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
The General Terms and Conditions ("GTCs") apply to all orders placed via the Patike GmbH online shop ("patike.ch") and all contracts concluded ("orders").
Patike.ch reserves the right to change the GTCs. The valid version of the GTCs at the time of placing the order shall apply. It may not be amended unilaterally for the relevant order.
2. Offers
Offers are valid for only as long as they appear on the online shop and/or while stocks last. Patike.ch may change its prices and product range at any time. The images used in advertising media, brochures, on the online shop, etc. as well as all information about the products themselves are for illustrative purposes only and are non-binding. Only the specific information displayed on the product packaging shall apply.
3. Pricing
Prices are displayed in Swiss francs and include value-added tax (VAT).
The prices stated on the online shop at the time of placing an order shall apply.
Orders placed for additional products or services subject to charge, e.g. delivery, are listed separately in the shopping cart and on the invoice.
4. Ordering
The presentation of products on the online shop shall not constitute a legally binding proposal but rather a non-binding online catalog or non-binding invitation to customers to order a given product on the online shop. Patike.ch reserves the right to limit the delivery quantities of specific products and not to deliver orders involving exceptionally heavy or bulky products.
Placing an order shall constitute an offer to enter into a contract with Patike.ch.
Following placement of the order, the customer is automatically issued with a confirmation by Patike.ch, documenting receipt of the order. Customers may cancel or add to their order only until order processing commences at one of our logistics centers. Additions to orders are calculated on the basis of the original order value. Any special offers and discounts applicable at the time of the addition are taken into account.
Patike.ch may reject an order, either in its entirety or in part, without stating the grounds. In such cases, Patike.ch will inform its customers accordingly and refund any payments already made. No other claims shall be accepted. In particular, undeliverable products will not be delivered at a later date. Temporarily unavailable products cannot be pre-ordered.
5. Conclusion of a contract
A contract shall be deemed to be concluded when the order is processed at a Patike.ch logistics center. Customers will receive an order confirmation by e-mail as soon as the relevant order is ready for dispatch.
6. Delivery
Available delivery slots are displayed on the online shop and can be selected by the customer for delivery of the respective order. It is not possible to set a precise delivery time within a given delivery slot. Delays may occur and specific delivery dates may be blocked, especially on peak days with unusually high delivery volumes. Customers will not be entitled to claim damages or make any other claims in relation to this.
Deliveries cannot be made on Sundays or national or cantonal holidays.
If the customer is not present at the delivery address at the time of delivery and has not given any special delivery instructions, the delivery will be left at the front door of the apartment/house or the reception/entrance of the company. Depending on the delivery time frame, orders may also be delivered to a neighbor living in the same building if this neighbor's address and telephone number were entered in the customer's account under "optional details" before the order was placed. If the customer's letterbox is part of a letterbox system, delivery staff will place a collection notification in the customer's letterbox. The customer will then be required to collect the delivery at the specified post office.
Customers will be responsible for delivered products, even if they have not been received in person by the customer.
Delivery costs: The cost of delivery depends on the total value of the ordered products (minimum purchase value excluding delivery charges, deposits and credits). The cost of delivery stated on the online shop and the delivery cost guideline below apply. Delivery costs are listed separately in the shopping cart and on the invoice.
7. Warranty
Patike GmbH guarantees the quality and shelf-life of its products under the following conditions:
Patike.ch can fulfill its guarantee through either partial or complete replacement by an equivalent product, a reduction in price or by issuing a credit note up to the sales price applicable at the time of the order.
Customers do not have a general right to return fault-free products that are delivered properly. Warranty claims are explicitly excluded for products whose intrinsic quality does not meet the customer's expectations and for products ordered by mistake.
8. Complaints
Should delivered products exhibit clear damage to their packaging or contents, the customer must, without prejudice to his/her warranty rights, immediately complain to the delivery staff and refuse acceptance thereof. Customers are obliged to ensure that delivery staff issue a damage confirmation notification. Any transport-related damage must also be reported to Patike.ch immediately.
Customers are also obliged to check ordered products immediately upon delivery and store them correctly. Any defects to or deviations from an order must be reported to the Patike.ch customer care service on the day of delivery, by sending an e-mail to info@patike.ch. Thereafter, customers may only claim for hidden defects that must be reported to the customer care service of Patike.ch immediately upon discovery. The amount paid by customers for defective goods is credited to their account. Patike.ch reserves the right to request proof of defects.
9. Modes of payment
Payments must be made in Swiss francs.
Electronic payment: Customers may pay using credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Twint or a debit card. When paying by credit card or debit card, the amount is charged after the order has been processed at the Patike.ch logistics center.
Purchase on account: Purchase on account is currently not accepted.
Refunds, credits and vouchers: If a customer is entitled to a refund or other credit, the relevant amount is credited to the relevant customer account and can be used for purchases at Patike.ch. Patike.ch vouchers can be neither sold nor auctioned off. Only one voucher may be used per order.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
All legal relationships between Patike.ch and the customer are subject to the substantive law of Switzerland to the exclusion of conflict-of-law provisions.
The place of jurisdiction for natural persons is Zurich, Switzerland. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for legal entities shall be Zurich, Switzerland.
11. Contact / Customer service
If you have any questions, please contact Patike.ch Customer Service by e-mail at info@patike.ch.
Data Protection and Privacy
Version V2.0, last updated October 30, 2026
This privacy statement explains how Patike GmbH ("Patike", "we") processes personal data when you visit our website, contact us or buy from us. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, for example to customers in Liechtenstein or the European Union, on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We only process the data we need for the purposes described below. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and our website contains no analytics or advertising trackers.
Who is responsible?
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Patike GmbH, Zürichstrasse 134, 8600 Dübendorf ZH, Switzerland. For any question about data protection, or to exercise your rights, write to info@patike.ch.
Visiting our website
Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. Every time you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data that is recorded in server logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use this data to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure, and to detect and block misuse, for example automated mass requests. Server logs are kept for a short period only and are not combined with other data.
On the contact page we greet you with your approximate location (city and country). It is derived from your IP address by our hosting provider at the moment you open the page, is shown only to you and is not stored. If you send us a message, the location shown is included with it.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Orders, checkout and payment
Our shop runs on the e-commerce platform of Wix.com Ltd., Israel. Your cart stays in your browser until you choose to check out. You then continue on the checkout hosted by Wix, where you enter your name, delivery and billing address, e-mail address, telephone number if required, and your payment details. Wix processes this data on our behalf to handle your order, the payment, the order confirmation and shipping notices.
Payments are processed by the payment service providers offered in the checkout. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Legal basis: performance of the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Back in stock notifications
If a product is sold out, you can leave your e-mail address to be told when it is available again. We store your e-mail address and the product you are interested in with Wix and send you a single notification once it is back in stock. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Contact form and e-mail
When you write to us through the contact form or by e-mail, we process the details you give us: your name, e-mail address, telephone number if provided, the topic and your message, together with the approximate location described above. The form is delivered to us by e-mail through our e-mail provider. We use this information only to answer your request.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, or steps prior to a contract if your enquiry concerns an order (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Videos
Our Motion Pictures page shows videos hosted by Vimeo.com, Inc., USA. The Vimeo player is only loaded when you open a video. It is embedded with Vimeo's "do not track" setting, so Vimeo sets no tracking cookies; your IP address and technical data about your browser are still transmitted to Vimeo so that the video can be played. More information is available in Vimeo's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our website only stores the following in your browser, each for the function named:
- patike_cookie_consent (cookie, 12 months): remembers your answer to the cookie notice.
- patike-cart (local storage): keeps the contents of your cart until you complete your order or remove the items.
- patike_intro_seen (local storage): shortens the intro on the start page once you have seen it.
The checkout pages hosted by Wix set their own cookies, which are needed to complete your purchase and are described in Wix's privacy policy. You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings; the shop will then simply start with an empty cart.
Fonts and all other files of our website are served from our own domain, without requests to third parties such as Google.
Recipients and disclosure abroad
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions: Vercel Inc. (hosting, USA), Wix.com Ltd. and its sub-processors (shop, checkout, payment and notifications, Israel and other countries), Vimeo.com, Inc. (video player, USA), our e-mail provider, and the payment and shipping providers involved in your order. Beyond that, we only disclose data where the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. Israel is recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. For the USA and other countries, data is transferred to recipients certified under the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the basis of the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner and adopted by the European Commission.
How do we protect your personal data?
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems and checks against automated misuse. Transmission of data over the Internet always carries some residual risk, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long do we keep data for?
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Order and accounting records are kept for ten years in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations. Contact enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless they relate to an order. Back in stock requests are deleted once the notification has been sent or when you withdraw your consent. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.
Your rights
Under the applicable data protection law you have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have your data deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive your data in a commonly used format, and to withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, write to info@patike.ch. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in Liechtenstein and the European Union it is the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Changes to this privacy statement
We may update this privacy statement when our website or the law changes. The version published on this page applies.
